Cats Storage on Fort Riley Blvd Is Now Axis Self Storage

The Cats Storage lot at 2151 Fort Riley Blvd is an Axis Self Storage location now. It is our third in Manhattan, alongside Skyway Drive and Marlatt Avenue.

What changed, and what did not

The lot is still at 2151 Fort Riley Blvd, in central Manhattan, a few minutes from K-State and downtown, and the gate is open 24/7 with your code, same as before.

Rentals, gate codes and billing go through Axis now, on 785-236-8202. Call or text between 7am and 7pm, seven days a week. If you already rent there, that is the number to save.

Google may still show the lot as Cats Self Storage for now, and it is the same place. The old catsstoragemhk.com address forwards to our Fort Riley Blvd page, so a saved bookmark still lands somewhere useful.

What you will find at Fort Riley Blvd

This is our drive-up lot in the middle of town. The units are on the ground floor, so you can pull up to the door and unload. Everything is month to month, on a secure, well-lit lot with security cameras.

It is also the only one of our three lots with underground parking. Those spaces sit below the lot, out of the hail and the summer sun, and suit a car or a motorcycle. There are back-in spaces as well, for a trailer or a work truck. Both are on our vehicle storage page.

Unit sizes are listed on the Fort Riley Blvd page. Live prices and availability open when you reserve, and you can rent online and get your gate code the same day.

Despite the street name, this lot sits at the Manhattan end of Fort Riley Blvd, in the center of town, and it is the farthest of our three lots from post. If you are coming from Fort Riley, Skyway Drive is closer.

Which Axis lot fits you

Each lot has a different mix, so start with what you need to store.

Fort Riley Blvd, central Manhattan

This lot has drive-up units plus underground and back-in parking. It is minutes from campus and downtown, which makes it an easy pick for students between leases or for a downtown business that has outgrown its back room.

Skyway Drive, west side by the airport

This is our climate-controlled and vehicle lot, with enclosed bays and covered parking for RVs, boats and other vehicles, and it is our closest lot to Fort Riley. Skyway does not have standard drive-up units, so for those, head to Marlatt or Fort Riley Blvd.

Marlatt Avenue, north side

Marlatt has climate-controlled and drive-up units in a range of sizes. It is our closest lot to K-State, about 2 miles from campus, and Tuttle Creek is about 10 minutes north. The Marlatt office is where you can meet an owner, by appointment.

Is this the same place as Cats Storage?
Yes. It is the same lot at 2151 Fort Riley Blvd, with the same 24/7 gate access, and Axis runs it now. Google may still list it as Cats Self Storage for a while.

Does the military discount apply at Fort Riley Blvd?
Yes. A 10% military discount for military and dependents with a valid ID, at all three Axis locations. There is a separate 10% for prepaying a full year, and the two do not stack.

Do I need to come in to rent?
